In this adventure Little Pete is desperate to meet the person who he considers his guardian angel. Inspector 34. The person at the Kreb of the Loom factory that always makes his underpants to perfection. Inspector 34 answers his letters and asks Pete to help him learn to let loose and find out if there is more to life than underpants.
Kevin and Erica talk about setting unreasonable expectations for yourself and stepping outside of your comfort zone.

In this adventure Big Pete’s losing baseball team gets a new coach. Mr. Ed Narrins. A man obssessed with winning as well as the Orange Lazarus drink made by Bob Oppenheimer at the Slush Shack. The team starts winning games, but is brought down by a flu strain. Mr. Narrins brings in his secret weapon to making them a winning team again. Little Pete, the Ty Cobb of insults to psyche out the other team.
On first watch there isn’t much going on in this episode, but dig a little deeper and you find WWII and biblical references that Kevin and Erica try to find the meaning behind.

In this adventure Don Wrigley is desperate to find a connection with his son, Little Pete. It seems impossible until a friendly rivalry between him and Mr. Hickel (Ellen’s father) escalates into “The Great Prank War” after Mr. Hickel starts broadcasting through the metal plate in Mom’s head in order to get revenge for blowing up his remote controlled car. Will this ware ever end?
Kevin compares Pete and Don’s struggle to when he was a teenager. Erica makes observations about how Don and Pete are actually more alike than they think. They end it comparing the whole thing to the Cold War. Yes. You read that correctly.
In this adventure Big Pete is trying to make his dad proud by becoming a discus thrower and inadvertently kills the school mascot, Edna the Squid. OH NOO! Ellen, Big Pete and Little Pete bury the squid on the 50 yard line and promise to never speak of it to anyone. Big Pete falls in love with his math teacher, Ms. Fingerwood. This makes grounds keeper Mr. Beverly jealous and he makes a deal with Big Pete’s enemy, Open-Face (or Eugene). Who will win Ms. Fingerwood’s affection? Listen a find out.
Erica and Kevin talk about the unintended creepiness of this episode and fluffernutters. That’s right. Remember that diabetes inducing concoction?
